Stromness RNLI News

Stromness RNLI 150th Anniversary News.

The bear below might not appear to be as cudly as some, but this bear has more than made up for a lack of cuddle factor with the fundraising prowess of his carver, for which we all give him a big hug here at the Stromness RNLI!

We are very grateful indeed to the very talented chainsaw woodcarver Ian Chalmers, who carved and donated three wood sculptures, to the Stromness RNLI, as part of our 150th Annivesary celebrations. Those carvings have raised a condisderable amount of money for the Stromness RNLI, and we thank Ian for his creative efforts and his generosity on our behalf.
